The Great Eclipse from the ground in Oregon

My wife, son and our dear friend Carrie had our minds blown experiencing the path of totality last August 21, 2017. Earlier that morning we headed south through abandoned Portland streets for 30 miles in search of a good viewing spot, ending up picking an orange grove outside the town of Hubbard. What ensued was one of the most beautiful natural experiences and a life moment for us all.  I used a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5 IS II lens thru a Sony A7rII via a Metabones adapter, utilizing the self-timer mode so that I could be in the moment as much as possible.  The standout image of the bunch was happily published in Darling Magazine, issue #22, Winter 2017 a few months later.
